Immanuel Woden Valley is committed to providing a safe church environment for all people, but especially for children, youth and people experiencing vulnerability.

We acknowledge that children are a precious gift from God, who require nurturing in their spiritual development and that they are to be protected from all forms of abuse. Our community at Immanuel Woden Valley also affirms that child abuse is not tolerated and that we all have an important responsibility to care for children and to keep them safe. The way we care for children reflects our faith. It is also a reflection of God’s love and divine protection.

We also recognise people who experience vulnerabilities, including older people, people with a disability, or people struggling with other life challenges. We endeavour to care for and provide a safe and welcoming environment, and respond to suggestions so that we can improve our facilities and ministries to better serve all people.
