Immanuel Church Camp returns for 2026!

This year we’ll again be holding our Church Camp at the Warrambui campsite, about 45 minutes north of Canberra. It’s a wonderful chance to spend time with each other and grow in our relationship with God. The camp has some teaching sessions, together with times for prayer and devotion, organised games/activities, and an informal Sunday worship. Even if you can’t come to all of the weekend, we’d love you to join us for worship on Sunday morning.
This years theme is ‘Fruitful, not productive’ a study about work and rest with guest speaker Amy Erickson. Amy J. Erickson (PhD, University of Aberdeen) teaches theology and ethics at St. Mark's National Theological Centre. Her theological interests are biblical hermeneutics (how we read scripture) and ecclesiology (being the church), with a special focus on church discipline. She has recently co-authored Sabbath Gospel: A New Narrative of Time, Rest, and the Work of the Church with Greg Wagenfuhr. Amy belongs to her church family at St. John's Anglican in Reid and loves gardening, hiking, and sour dough bread making.

What is included?
Meals and accommodation in ensuite rooms. Where possible, rooms will be allocated to families.
What to bring?
Bible, pen, your own sleeping bag / doona, your own pillow both a top and bottom sheet for your bed (single bed size), towel, comfortable clothes and footwear.
What is the cost?
For first time Immanuel/Molonglo attendees, your payment will be covered using a generous bequest to our church community.
For other attendees, we ask that you pay for your attendance at camp (refer to the cost chart below). We don’t want finances to stop anybody from attending camp, so the option to ‘pay what you can’ is also available. For those who wish to be generous, additional contributions to support those who are not able to cover their own costs are appreciated.
If you are not a member of Immanuel or the Molonglo Valley Gospel Community, we ask that you pay in full and seek a subsidy from your home congregation if required.
