Welcome to Immanuel

Immanuel Woden Valley is a community based on the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ. We strive to be a friendly and welcoming community that embraces and cares for anyone who joins us as we walk with Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit works through us all to inspire, challenge and support each other. We are a community blessed with members from different walks of life and at different points in our individual faith journeys.

Each Sunday we meet to worship together in both traditional and contemporary styles, hear the Word of God, and share in Holy Communion (Eucharist). During the week, we meet throughout Canberra in bible study groups, evangelistic missional communities and for social events.

Worship Services

Sunday Service 9.00am
The 9.00am service is more traditional liturgical service with a spoken or sung liturgy. Hymns and songs are accompanied by an organist or pianist.

Sunday Service 10.30am
The 10.30am service is a more relaxed, contemporary style. The music is led by a band and singers.

Combined Services
On several Sundays throughout the year there is one combined service.

We're committed to providing a space that's safe for everyone - especially kids and vulnerable people. All people involved in ministry teams and events hold ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and have completed Safe Church training.
