During the Livestream on Sunday, we announced that we will be returning to in-person Sunday worship on Sunday 11 October! You can watch this announcement by clicking the image above.

Some things will feel a bit different to how they did before lockdown. Our building will only accommodate 40 people under the four-square metre rule. That means it will be important for you to register to attend worship gatherings, so that we don’t have to turn people away.
To care for everyone’s safety, we will have a COVID Safety Plan for our worship gatherings. You can download the plan here [PDF].
Other key points
- There will be services at 9am (traditional) and 10.30am (contemporary) as would usually occur. You should expect things to feel a little different to how they did before the lockdown though.
- The livestream will continue for those who need it – at this stage only the 10.30am service will be livestreamed. The Board of Leadership has carefully considered privacy: only those who are leading the service will appear on camera.
- Government regulations limit us to 40 people in the church building (see here – PDF). Registration for each week will be available via this webpage or by contacting the office. In future weeks we have the possibility of overflow spaces to allow more people to attend. We expect and hope that people who are not yet part of our community will wish to join us in worship – a couple of spaces will be set aside in each service so that we don’t need to turn people away.
- We plan to celebrate Holy Communion on Sundays, beginning on 18 October.
- Official ACT Government advice discourages singing. The Board of Leadership ask that if you wish to sing, you wear your own (properly fitted) face mask to minimise the spread of aerosols.
- We need volunteers to help our gatherings run smoothly, so that we together we can focus on receiving God’s gifts through the word, sacraments, and community of believers. Some of these needs and roles have changed due to COVID – please prayerfully consider volunteering to serve in one of these ways.
